Design is inherently nonlinear, but print design elevates the complexity of the iterative process to another level. A clear comprehension of printing methods and paper properties is essential to precisely represent on paper what was created digitally. Even so, extensive prototyping and testing are necessary to bridge this gap between concept and final product.

My interaction with printing began at my father's clothing factory. As a child, the colorful graphics on the t-shirts he produced sparked my curiosity and inspired me to start drawing. This enthusiasm led me to learn graphic softwares, starting with Corel Draw, then Photoshop and Illustrator. My first printed t-shirts were a disaster, but they taught me a valuable lesson: achieving the desired result demands more than simply printing an artwork.

These early experiences certainly have had an impact on my decision to become a designer. During college, the work of Dieter Rams had a significant influence on me, especially for his thoughtful and timeless approach. In the last few years, my contribution to editorial work has always been translating concepts and purpose with simplicity, precision, and detail.
