I believe that the inventive forms we continuously develop to portray visual narratives are rooted in our desire to express, connect, and share. From analog film to generative AI, the possibilities of representing photos have never been so diverse. As we blend this wide range of technologies into our creative practice, we discover new ways of telling a story.
I have always been passionate about photography post-production. There's a deep sense of satisfaction in overcoming the constraints that are often difficult to control in the environment when capturing a moment.
Creating masks to adjust light and colors, correcting angles, adding texture and depth, removing unwanted elements, cropping, or, even, expanding… when it comes to graphic adjustments, the possibilities are endless. From a single picture, new ones can emerge. But more than elevating their quality or preparing them to be published, editing is an act of conveying emotion.
When our purpose is defined by the emotional impact we want to promote, it becomes possible to guide the visual decisions in a way that every image is edited to amplify our narrative.
